Bowmore/ Rare 40 Year-Old/ Single Malt Scotch Whisky/ 700ml/ 42% ABV. Limited edition bottle number 300 of 306 and only 294 issued to the public. You'll find very few on sale to the public today and research indicates that there are only two bottles known to be in Canada. Oak display case with crystal bottle and stopper and certifcate of authenticity, original pad lock with key and the original shipping packaging. This bottle has only had one owner since leaving Bowmore distillery. This Whiskey was distilled on November 22nd, 1955, first in a bourbon hogshead for twenty years and then moved to a sherry cask. Bottled in 1995. Wards Auction's will store this bottle for up the six months for foreign buyers to arrange for export brokerage. Insurance duty at that time will be the responsibility of the buyer and Ward's Auction will accept no responsibility for loss during that time, although every effort will be make to keep it safe.
