It is the bidder's sole responsibility to determine the condition, age, authenticity, value, and suitability of any item before placing a bid. Descriptions, photographs, measurements, condition reports, and advertising provided by Lakeside Realty & Auction are for convenience only and are believed to be accurate; however, they are not guaranteed. Errors or omissions shall not be grounds for rescission of sale or adjustment of the purchase price. Buyers must rely on their own inspection or that of a qualified third party. If a bid is placed within the final minutes of a lot closing, bidding will automatically extend for an additional period (typically three minutes). This process continues until no further bids are placed. Lakeside Realty & Auction reserves the right to require payment by certified funds, wire transfer, or other approved methods before releasing purchased items. Payment must be made in full within the timeframe stated in the auction-specific information. Buyers grant Lakeside Realty & Auction a security interest in all purchased items until payment has been received in full. Invoices will be emailed following the close of the auction. ________________________________________ Buyer's Premium A buyer's premium will be applied to each purchase. The buyer's premium is added to the final bid amount and becomes part of the total purchase price. The buyer's premium percentage and any applicable caps or limitations will be stated in the auction-specific terms. ________________________________________ Shipping & Transportation Shipping is available only when stated in the auction-specific information. Shipping is performed through a professional third-party shipping company. All packing, handling, shipping, insurance, and related charges are the sole responsibility of the buyer and will be charged to the payment method on file unless otherwise arranged. Buyers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. Once purchased items have been transferred to the shipping provider, Lakeside Realty & Auction assumes no responsibility for shipping costs, transit times, delays, loss, or damage occurring during shipment. ________________________________________ Item Removal / Pickup Buyers must remove all purchases during the scheduled pickup period unless shipping arrangements have been made. Unless otherwise stated in the auction-specific information, no alternate pickup times will be available. If a buyer is unable to attend the scheduled pickup, they must arrange for another individual to pick up their purchases. Failure to remove purchased items during the scheduled pickup period does not relieve the buyer of their obligation to pay for purchased items. Buyers are responsible for bringing adequate labor, vehicles, trailers, tie-downs, packing materials, and any assistance necessary to safely remove and transport their purchases. Lakeside Realty & Auction reserves the right to stop any unsafe loading or removal activity. Items not removed during the designated pickup period shall be considered abandoned. Lakeside Realty & Auction may, at its sole discretion, assess storage fees, resell, dispose of, or otherwise handle abandoned property without further notice. No refunds will be issued for abandoned or unclaimed items. ________________________________________ Transfer of Ownership Ownership transfers to the buyer upon payment in full. At that time, all responsibility for loss, damage, theft, or use of the purchased property transfers to the buyer. ________________________________________ Default of Payment If payment is not completed, Lakeside Realty & Auction reserves the right to: " Charge the payment method on file. " Revoke current and future bidding privileges. " Resell the item. " Pursue legal action for damages, collection costs, attorney fees where permitted by law, and any deficiency resulting from resale. Interest may be charged on overdue balances as permitted by applicable law. ________________________________________ Payment Disputes If a buyer believes an error has occurred, they agree to contact Lakeside Realty & Auction promptly to allow an opportunity to resolve the matter before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback with their financial institution. ________________________________________ Communication Buyers are responsible for monitoring their email, voicemail, and auction platform notifications for invoices, updates, and pickup instructions.
