It is flanked by a crisp, deep blue scalloped Treasury seal on the right side and a large blue numeral "5" on the left. Reverse: Showcases a beautifully detailed, large green engraving of the classic Lincoln Memorial building vignette in Washington, D.C.  Condition & Packaging Notes: Paper Quality: Soft, heavily circulated paper body showing widespread historical pocket handling and age. The note retains complete original borders but exhibits generalized atmospheric browning, light dirt transfer, and localized staining across both faces. Folds & Creases: Displays heavy, deep vertical and horizontal fold creases from historical circulation. Widespread surface wrinkling, corner softening, and paper fiber breakdown are present across the main body. Defects/Markings: Features several tiny pinholes or light storage stress tears near the central folds, along with localized natural aging spots embedded within the paper mesh. The dark obverse engraving ink, distinct blue serial numbers, and blue Treasury seal remain fully legible.  Presentation: Cleanly displayed and housed inside a semi-rigid clear protective plastic currency sleeve.
