Group of American stoneware pottery, including a Robinson Ransbottom blue spongeware pie plate and two hand-painted stoneware crocks. The oval pie plate displays classic blue spongeware decoration along the rim and is clearly marked on the base with the Robinson Ransbottom Pottery mark, Roseville, Ohio, and is noted as dishwasher and oven proof. The first crock presents a charming schoolhouse scene with an American flag, while the second crock is decorated with a painted heart and a black-necked swan motif. The crocks are cylindrical and likely multi-purpose in function. Each piece exemplifies traditional American country pottery styles and practical artisan craftsmanship.
